The Paid Media Executive plays a key role in supporting Tropic’s online growth, bringing the brand to life across paid social and search channels. Reporting to the Head of Digital & eCommerce, this role supports the execution, optimisation and reporting of paid media activity across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and other relevant platforms, working closely with our digital agency. Balancing impactful campaign moments with strong always-on performance, the Paid Media Executive helps ensure our paid activity is audience-first, creatively engaging and commercially effective. Through close collaboration with Creative, Marketing and eCommerce teams, this role supports the delivery of measurable growth while ensuring paid media reflects Tropic’s values, storytelling and wider business ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Development & Optimisation: Support the setup, management and optimisation of paid media campaigns across social and search platforms. Assist in delivering both campaign-led activations and always-on activity, ensuring consistent performance and learnings across both. Work alongside our digital agency to optimise campaigns against agreed KPIs including ROAS, CPA, engagement and conversion. Support structured testing across audiences, creative, formats and messaging to continuously improve results.
- Performance & Channel Strategy: Support day-to-day monitoring of paid media performance, tracking KPIs including revenue, CPA, ROAS, reach and engagement. Supporting execution of the paid media strategy to drive awareness, consideration and conversion objectives across the funnel. Identify opportunities through performance trends, audience insights, creative learnings and competitor analysis. Assist with budget pacing and performance efficiency, flagging opportunities and risks.
- Digital Content & Creative Performance: Brief creative assets for paid media, informed by performance data and platform best practice, driving both NPD and core awareness and conversion. Analyse creative performance to understand what resonates with different audiences and feed insights back to Creative, Social and eCommerce teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to refine messaging, landing page journeys and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Data, Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and report on campaign performance using Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager dashboards, Google Analytics and Power BI, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. Support wider team understanding of paid search and social performance, and learnings. Plan and support structured testing across audiences, creative, formats and messaging, using learnings to inform future activity.
- Agency & Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with our external agency and platform partners to support effective campaign delivery. Collaborate closely with e-Commerce, SEO, Organic Social and our PR team, sharing learnings and briefing 360 brand awareness campaigns and activations together. Stay up-to-date with platform developments, new ad formats and best practice, sharing relevant opportunities with the wider team.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years’ experience in paid media (agency or in-house).
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; exposure to TikTok or Pinterest is advantageous.
- Confident analysing performance data and drawing insights using GA4 and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of key metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rate.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Commercially curious, with a desire to understand how paid media drives revenue and growth.
- Data-led but creatively aware – understanding the balance between performance and brand.
- Collaborative and confident working cross-functionally in a fast-paced retail environment.
What We Offer
- Employment type: full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Location: Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.
