We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join us on a freelance basis during an exciting period of growth at Tropic. This is an opportunity to partner with a purpose‑led, award‑winning business, working alongside a collaborative and supportive People and Culture team to help shape the future of our organisation. Over the coming months, you’ll play a key role in attracting exceptional talent across a diverse range of functions, including Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Quality, Ambassador and Customer Experience, R&D and Operations.

We’re looking for someone who can quickly become an extension of our People and Culture team, building strong relationships with hiring managers, delivering an outstanding candidate experience and helping us hire great people who will thrive at Tropic. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and relationship‑driven Talent Partner who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands‑on delivery in a fast‑paced and values‑led environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment across a variety of roles and business functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, challenge briefs where appropriate, and advise on recruitment best practices.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract high‑quality candidates.
  • Screen and assess candidates against role requirements and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Provide regular market insights, recruitment updates and hiring recommendations.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience that reflects Tropic’s values and employer brand.
  • Support the offer process, including candidate communications, offer negotiations, and onboarding handovers.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple business functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility quickly.
  • Experience working in‑house, embedded, or as a Talent Partner supporting growing organisations.
  • Confident sourcing passive candidates through a variety of channels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, bringing a flexible, solutions‑focused approach to changing business needs.
  • Experience recruiting within the beauty industry is highly desirable.
  • Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.
What We Offer
  • Contract: Freelance contract for an initial 3‑6 month period, working 3–4 days per week.
  • Location: Hybrid working with a blend of remote work and time spent at our HQ, a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram Stop with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.
  • Rate: Competitive day rate, dependent on experience.
  • Start Date: Immediate start available.
