Salary (£30,000 - £38,000) DEO + Flexible Benefits + Plus On Call Allowance (1-24). NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting a FGas Technician to support the delivery of a hard service maintenance contract at the Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth, providing PPM and reactive maintenance on FGas and mechanical systems.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will deliver all FGas & Mechanical statutory and reactive maintenance required across various contracts, supporting the local engineering teams.

Key deliverables:
  • Deliver a customer-focused planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance service relating primarily to FGas related equipment and plant to meet client and statutory obligations.
  • Delivery of mechanical service capability to related components.

The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a call-out rota (1-24), within an agile working framework.

What we’re looking for:

An experienced AC Technician working on FGas equipment and mechanical systems with a pro-active fault-finding approach to engineering. A personable engineer who can articulate to clients the necessary steps and actions required to rectify issues when required.

You will hold current qualifications to work as a FGas engineer including:

  • C&G 2079 Cat 1 FGAS Compliance
  • NVQ Level 2 in plumbing and FGas (minimum)
