Opening in spring 2025, Glenrosa Restaurant will bring authentic Sonoran cuisine to life in a beautifully renovated space at Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills in Tempe, Arizona.   • Flavorful Creations: Utilize whole food products efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing flavor, with a focus on enhancing ingredients through woodfire cooking.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
  • Proactive Communication: Alert the chef or supervisor promptly about any equipment malfunctions, food overages, or shortages.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition inventory and receive supplies as needed for daily production.
  • Proper Storage: Ensure proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Safe Practices: Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures, especially those related to operating a woodfire grill.
What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 months of related experience in a professional kitchen, ideally with experience in woodfire grilling, or equivalent training. We’re also willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for food and a desire to learn the art of woodfire cooking!
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation Training/Certification.

You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team of culinary professionals who are passionate about food.
