Salt Pond Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Spray Technician. The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and appreciates the value of hard work.

Duties include but are not limited to mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as maintain records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.

Special Requirements:

• Have no problems wearing spray applicator suits, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Perform simple calculations
• Willing to learn
• Detail-oriented
• Keep area neat and organized
• Have or be willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizer and chemical applications
• Update spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheets
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders
• General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment
• Over time, be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues
