As People and Culture Advisor, you’ll deliver an efficient and effective HR advisory service, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. You’ll support both strategic and operational people initiatives and play a key role in promoting our values and culture.
Key responsibilities- Provide professional advice to line managers on P&C policies including absence management, performance, and disciplinaries
- Prepare and attend formal and informal HR meetings, including accurate minute-taking
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with employment legislation
- Support the development and implementation of new people initiatives
- Draft and manage HR documentation such as letters relating to ER processes
- Update and maintain the HR system (CIPHR preferred)
- Compile HR data and MI reports as required
- Drive employee engagement and cultural initiatives to promote our employer brand
- Support the P&C Director with TUPE and restructuring processes as needed
- Proven experience in a similar HR or People & Culture advisory role (telecoms or related industry is a bonus)
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and policy application
- Demonstrated experience handling complex ER cases through to resolution
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the business
- The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (CIPHR experience desirable)
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths, English, and IT/Science)
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards the qualification
