About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll for our employees.

Supporting multiple hotel locations across the UK, you will play a key role in ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time while delivering an excellent payroll service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and building strong relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end payroll process for employees across multiple hotel sites.
  • Process starters, leavers, contractual changes, and payroll amendments.
  • Validate payroll data including hours worked, overtime, absence, and holiday pay.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within payroll and HR systems.
  • Respond to payroll queries from colleagues and managers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with pension administration and auto-enrolment processes.
  • Support compliance with HMRC regulations, statutory payments, and payroll legislation.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies.
  • Produce payroll reports for management and department heads.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities and audits.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and Operational teams to ensure payroll accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within hospitality, retail, leisure, or a multi-site business.
  • Knowledge of pension administration and auto-enrolment.
  • Experience using payroll and HRIS systems.
