We are looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at the Oxford Courtyard City Centre Hotel. Someone who embodies trust and reliability, taking ownership of tasks with originality and versatility. Their passion for hospitality is reflected in their warm smile, ensuring guest loyalty through integrity and excellence. They embrace the diverse needs of guests, demonstrating unwavering dedication to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the preparation and service of all products within the food and beverage department.
- Ensure the restaurant is laid and prepared in line with the service standards.
- Keep all food and beverage areas clean and presentable at all times by assisting in general cleaning tasks.
- Maximise on commercial opportunities within your department by taking every opportunity to upsell.
- Suggest ideas for department and hotel improvement/innovation.
- Ensure all equipment is used in a safe and correct manner in line with company guidelines and risk assessments.
- Deal with customer queries or concerns in a professional manner.
- Implement action on Hygiene Audits in order to enhance the environment and achieve positive consistent results.
- Ensure good working relationships with all colleagues in your department and hotel.
- Present yourself well-groomed and in full uniform as per the company standards.
