As we continue to grow, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy across a portfolio of 4-5 hotels within the South region.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that maximise revenue, market share, and profitability across your hotel cluster.

Working closely with General Managers, Revenue Management, and operational teams, you will lead all sales activities, strengthen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, leisure, and group segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver cluster sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth across 4-5 hotels through proactive sales activity and account management.
  • Identify, secure, and grow key corporate, agency, group, and leisure business.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts.
  • Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Support hotels with local business development initiatives and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimise commercial performance.
  • Build, coach, and inspire property-based sales teams where applicable.
  • Represent TROO Hospitality at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior hotel sales leadership role, ideally at Cluster Director of Sales level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK hospitality market.
  • Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth across multiple hotel properties.
  • Experience managing key corporate, MICE, and agency relationships.
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
