Job Description We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organised Linen Porter to join our friendly Housekeeping team. As a Linen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay by supporting the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen throughout the hotel. Remove used linen from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring it is delivered to the laundry promptly. Maintain appropriate stock levels of linen, towels, and housekeeping supplies across the hotel. Keep linen stores clean, organised, and fully stocked. Support Room Attendants and the wider Housekeeping team with linen requests and general duties. Report any damaged or missing linen to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene procedures. Assist with additional housekeeping tasks as required to ensure the department runs efficiently. What We're Looking For Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic. Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting, carrying, pushing linen trolleys, and being on your feet for extended periods. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Troo Benefits Food
