We are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business growth.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Support year-end accounts preparation and coordinate external audits.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
- Produce financial analysis and management information to support business decisions.
- Mentor and support members of the finance team.
- Work closely with department managers to improve financial performance across the business.
About You
- The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and management accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
