Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Field Based Diagnostics and Repair Specialist / Garage Equipment Engineer to our Team. Trojan garage equipment services ltd is a leading supplier of garage equipment. We are based in Thornbury and have now been established 34 years. We service road transport and automotive customers in businesses such as commercial vehicle workshops, bus workshops, local authority, police, fire and ambulance workshops.
In providing this service to our clients, our work includes diagnostic/breakdowns, planned preventive maintenance, calibrations and repairs. An important part of our development plans is the expansion of our engineering team for which we now seek applications from engineers with the ability to meet our clients' needs across South West / South Wales, South and Midlands. Our Engineers work in the field responding to job allocations to customer sites and also periodic visits to our company base in Thornbury as and when required.

- A desire to provide a first class service to clients.
- Would suit Auto Electrician, HGV technician or factory engineer; Ashcart fitters skillset is a very good match for this role.
- A strong electrical engineering background with a determined approach to problem solving.
- A good working knowledge and experience of maintenance, inspection calibration and breakdown repair activities in a field service environment.
- A skilled engineer with a good level of electronic and I.T. skills.
- Compliance with regulations applying to Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime, with occasional stays overnight away from home.
- Confident and able to work under own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Have a full clean UK driving licence.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday with occasional overnight stays. There will be some overtime.
Salary: Excellent levels of competitive pay dependent on skills, technical knowledge and experience.
Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
Facilities: Van with fuel card, branded work wear and PPE, mobile phone, laptop.
