About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Area Facilities Manager to support our client in driving operational excellence across a multi-site estate throughout London. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting technical services contract management and delivery across the entire portfolio
- Managing, developing and supporting Area Facilities Managers
- Leading our company-wide energy management initiatives to drive down operational costs
- Overseeing capital expenditure planning and project coordination
- Conducting building surveys and audits to ensure compliance with H&S legislation and FM standards
- Managing reactive works, SLA performance and key client communications
- Contract management of specialist services (lifts, P&D, life safety)
- Quality assurance and continuous process improvement
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven multisite facilities management experience (essential) ideally managing multiple locations simultaneously
- At least 2 years in an Area Facilities Manager role or similar
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical contract management
- Experience managing outsourced subcontractors
- Technical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management skills with contractors and internal teams
- Self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented
Desirable:
- RICS qualification or equivalent
- Relevant professional FM qualifications
