Operations Director

Location

London Head Office with regular travel across the UK

This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Operations Director to join a successful, multi-site hospitality business at an exciting stage of its journey.

Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead restaurant operations across a national estate, taking responsibility for commercial performance, operational excellence and the development of high-performing operational teams.

This is a role for a visible, hands-on leader.

You'll be equally comfortable spending time in restaurants coaching Regional Operations Managers and supporting teams as you are reviewing business performance with the Executive Team.

You'll understand that exceptional guest experiences, engaged people and strong commercial results are intrinsically linked, and you'll have the leadership capability to deliver all three.

With responsibility for leading a team of Regional Operations Managers, you will drive consistent operational standards, improve performance across the estate and ensure every restaurant is operating safely, efficiently and profitably.

Working closely with colleagues across Finance, People, Marketing, Property, Supply Chain and Technology, you'll help translate business objectives into operational delivery, supporting continued growth and continuous improvement across the organisation.

We're looking for a commercially minded operational leader with a proven track record of delivering results within a multi-site hospitality environment.

You'll bring significant experience leading through Regional or Area Manager structures, full P&L accountability and the ability to influence performance through effective coaching, clear accountability and strong commercial decision-making.

Just as importantly, you'll be a leader who enjoys being close to the operation.

You'll build credibility quickly, develop future talent, create high-performing teams and foster a culture where people are empowered to deliver their best.

This is an opportunity to join a business that values operational excellence, invests in its people and has ambitious plans for the future.

You'll have the autonomy to make a genuine impact, working alongside an experienced leadership team to shape operational performance and help drive the next phase of growth.

About You

You will already be operating at senior level within hospitality, QSR or casual dining and will have a track record of delivering sustainable commercial success across a sizeable multi-site estate.

You'll bring

  • Extensive experience leading multi-site operations through Regional or Area Manager structures.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with significant P&L responsibility.
  • A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, develop and retain high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical capability, using operational data and KPIs to drive business performance.
  • The credibility to influence stakeholders across every level of the organisation, from restaurant teams to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • A collaborative, resilient and pragmatic leadership style, with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality business.
