Job Title: Technology Project Manager (Hospitality Experience Required)
Our clent is a dynamic and growing organisation in the hospitality sector, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovation and technology. As they continue to enhance their operations, they are seeking a Technology Project Manager with a solid background in hospitality to join the team and lead the successful delivery of critical IT initiatives across the business.
Job Summary:
The Technology Project Manager will oversee and manage a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, proven leadership ability, and excellent organisational skills. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between IT and business operations, ensuring that technology solutions are delivered efficiently, on time, and within scope—while supporting an exceptional hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects across operational and support functions
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and technical requirements
- Oversee the implementation and integration of new systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for system deployments and upgrades
- Monitor project performance, including budgets, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity standards (e.g., GDPR) relevant to the hospitality industry
- Serve as a key contact for system-related issues, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors
- Drive service delivery and resolution of technical incidents, problems, and enhancement requests
- Develop and track metrics to assess IT service performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging technologies and provide recommendations to support business strategy
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred but not essential
- Proven experience working in the hospitality industry (this is a must-have)
- Strong technical acumen with an understanding of systems and software relevant to hospitality operations
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
