My client is a well-loved, fast-growing brand in the QSR space, with a strong presence across the UK and big ambitions for what comes next. They’ve built a loyal customer base through great product, clear brand identity, and a real focus on experience, and delivery has become a hugely important part of that journey.
The Opportunity
This is a 12-month maternity cover for a Head of Delivery, reporting into the CMO and sitting at the heart of how the brand shows up off-premise. It’s a role with real ownership, you’ll shape the delivery strategy, build strong external partnerships, and make sure everything is working as it should, from big-picture planning through to day-to-day performance.
- Set and deliver the overall delivery strategy, with a focus on sustainable growth
- Own relationships with delivery partners and aggregators, working closely with them to improve visibility, trading, and performance
- Keep a close eye on how things are actually landing operationally, making sure plans are realistic and effective in practice
- Use data and insight to guide decisions, spot opportunities, and course-correct where needed
- Lead regular performance reviews and keep delivery activity aligned with wider business goals
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and commercial teams to keep everything joined up
- Manage trading levers like promotions, pricing, and offers to drive both sales and profitability
- Stay ahead of potential challenges and keep things running smoothly
The Candidate
This role would suit someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, someone who’s comfortable zooming out, but equally happy getting into the detail.
- Experience in a senior delivery, e-commerce, or trading role within a multi-site environment (QSR or hospitality would be ideal)
- Strong experience working with third-party delivery platforms and partners
- Commercially minded, with a good instinct for what drives performance
- Confident using data to inform decisions, without losing sight of the bigger picture
- A natural relationship builder, both internally and externally
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
- Proactive, thoughtful, and able to adapt as things change
It’s a great opportunity to step into a visible, business-critical role in a brand that’s continuing to evolve with plenty of scope to make a real impact over the 12 months.
