National | Interim appointment The Opportunity We are working with a major UK hospitality business to appoint an outstanding interim Head of Food & Beverage. This is a business with significant scale, strong performance and ambitious plans for the future. With continued investment across the operation and a clear focus on evolving the customer proposition, this is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of one of the most important commercial and operational areas of the business. The role combines scale, transformation and pace. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the food and beverage proposition while ensuring that it works brilliantly in practice across a large national estate. The Role This is a true end-to-end F&B leadership role, with responsibility spanning strategy, proposition development, operational standards, commercial performance and the teams responsible for delivering it. You will take ownership of the overall F&B offer, ensuring it is commercially compelling, operationally deliverable and consistently executed across the estate. A key priority will be creating a clear and effective F&B function, bringing together the capabilities required to develop the proposition, support operational excellence and ensure customers understand and engage with the offer. This is therefore as much a transformation role as an operating role. You will need to be comfortable challenging the status quo, simplifying where necessary and creating an approach that can be delivered consistently at scale. About You You may currently be a Food & Beverage Director, Head of Food & Beverage, or senior Operations Director within a large, multi-site hospitality business. You will have experience owning an F&B proposition across a significant estate and will bring genuine depth across development, menu strategy, operational execution and commercial performance. You'll ideally bring: Senior F&B leadership experience within a large, multi-site hospitality or consumer-facing business A strong track record of delivering strategic and operational transformation Experience of simplifying and improving propositions while maintaining quality and customer appeal Deep understanding of menu development, kitchen operations, workflow, equipment and operational deliverability Strong commercial acumen and experience managing significant P&Ls Experience leading sizeable, diverse teams across F&B, development and operational functions The ability to work effectively across Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Finance and Property A genuine obsession with the customer experience and a passion for delivering simple, high-quality propositions consistently The confidence to operate in an environment of change, ambiguity and competing priorities Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at the most senior levels Most importantly, you understand that great F&B is only successful when the operation can deliver it brilliantly. You will be someone who can create clarity, build trust and give teams the tools, training and confidence to deliver a compelling proposition consistently, at significant scale.
