We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious organisation to recruit an experienced Conferencing & Events Lead for a flagship corporate financial environment across London and Glasgow. The successful candidate will lead a large, multi-disciplinary front-of-house and events operation, delivering exceptional guest experiences and high-profile corporate events, while constantly seeking new ways to enhance service, engagement, and operational efficiency.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Client Services Director, you will take full ownership of the conferencing, events, and reception operation, leading a team across Front of House, Reception, Community, and Events functions within this financial institution. This is a highly visible role where you will act as a senior ambassador for both the service provider and client, setting the standard for excellence in hospitality, professionalism, and progressive service innovation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating, and developing a multi-skilled team to deliver a world-class guest and visitor experience within reception, front of house and events.
- Driving innovation across service delivery, events programming, and operational processes.
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of premium corporate events and conferences.
- Overseeing all front-of-house operations including scheduling, payroll, visitor management systems, meeting room operations, and event logistics.
- Working closely with the Client Services Director on strategic initiatives, reporting, and service improvement projects.
- Building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders including Facilities, Security, IT, and external suppliers.
- Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards, operational procedures, and service level agreements.
- Acting as a senior point of contact within the client environment.
