Salary up to Β£70,000 + bonus and benefits
Our client is a respected independent hospitality group with a portfolio of chef-led premium restaurants. Each location has it's own unique identity and culinary concept so this is an exciting, dynamic and creative hospitality setting.
They are creating a new Group Senior Marketing Manager role to sit at the heart of their high-impact Sales & Marketing team.
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded marketeer who will report to the Sales & Marketing Director, lead a Social & Content Manager, work with a Digital Marketing Manager and manage the PR, creative and agency partners.
One week you're launching a new campaign in one of the restaurants, the next you're writing copy, running a photoshoot or working out how to fill a quiet Tuesday lunch with a General Manager.
The Opportunity
- Own the group marketing calendar and take campaigns from brief to launch across multiple brands
- Use covers, bookings and revenue data to spot where marketing can move the dial, then act on it
- Build and deliver local marketing plans for every restaurant, including partnerships, events and community activity
- Bring each brand's personality to life without a one-size-fits-all approach
- Lead marketing for new openings and refurbishments
- Manage the budget, agencies and suppliers, and show the return on spend
Your first 12 months
A live local marketing plan for every restaurant, measurable growth in covers and revenue where it's needed most, one joined-up marketing calendar, and clear reporting on what spend delivers.
The Candidate
- Senior marketing experience in restaurants, hospitality or leisure - preferably with a background in and/or genuine appreciation of premium chef-led environments
- A track record of delivering integrated campaigns and making things happen without a big team around you
- Strong commercial instincts and the confidence to work directly with GMs, Operations and senior stakeholders
- Experience managing people, agencies and budgets
- Sharp creative judgement, excellent copywriting and an eye for detail
- A working knowledge of digital and CRM, enough to brief, collaborate and challenge
- Need to be easily commutable to Brighton with a minimum of three days in Brighton, one in London and one from home.
You don't need to be a specialist in everything, but more an outstanding all-rounder who gets things done!
