About Troi

At Troi, we partner with ambitious organisations to solve complex talent challenges through embedded recruitment solutions. Our Talent Acquisition Specialists become a true extension of our clients' businesses, providing the expertise, market knowledge, and delivery capability needed to secure exceptional talent.

We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a proven background recruiting within the National Security and Government sectors.

This is a specialist role requiring deep knowledge of the DV and SC-cleared talent market, the unique challenges associated with security-cleared hiring, and the ability to advise stakeholders on navigating an increasingly competitive landscape.

The Role

As an Embedded Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be deployed within one of our clients, supporting the delivery of critical hiring programmes across Defence, National Security, Aerospace, Cyber Security, Government, and Intelligence functions.

You will work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop talent strategies, identify hard-to-find candidates, and provide expert guidance on the security-cleared recruitment market.

This role offers significant autonomy and trust, with the opportunity to become a genuine subject matter expert and strategic advisor within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across DV, SC, and security-cleared positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Direct source candidates using a variety of channels and networking methods.
  • Advise stakeholders on market conditions, candidate availability, and hiring challenges.
  • Support workforce planning and future capability requirements.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.

This is not a generalist Talent Acquisition role.

Candidates must have demonstrable experience recruiting within one of the following sectors: UK Defense, National Security, Government, Intelligence, Aerospace, or Cyber Security, with a detailed understanding of the security-cleared talent market.

You must possess:

  • Strong knowledge of SC (Security Check) and DV (Developed Vetting) clearance requirements.
  • Experience recruiting and engaging security-cleared professionals.
  • Understanding of the challenges associated with transferring, maintaining, and obtaining clearances.
  • Established networks within the cleared candidate community.
  • Experience advising stakeholders on talent availability, hiring timelines, and market conditions.

What You'll Get

  • Significant autonomy and trust from day one.
  • Hybrid working model with only two days onsite.
  • Opportunity to support high-profile projects and programmes.
  • Genuine strategic influence within a client environment.
  • Exposure to some of the UK's most critical and innovative organisations.
  • Career progression opportunities within Troi.

Why Troi?

At Troi, we believe specialist recruiters create the greatest value when they're empowered to operate as true talent partners.

We provide the support, tools, and flexibility needed to succeed, while giving our people the autonomy to build trusted relationships and make a genuine impact.

If you have deep expertise within the DV and SC-cleared recruitment market and are looking for an opportunity to become a trusted extension of a client's team, we'd love to hear from you.
