London based (South of River office, 3 days a week) | £100 – £115k salary

Troi Search are thrilled to be partnering with a major player in the London quick delivery space as they move into a new phase of their business journey.

Through an extremely popular mobile app – customers can purchase almost anything you’d expect to see in a supermarket & also luxury items through their “boutique” section. Customers can expect them to be delivered in minutes.

We’re helping this client grow their in house Software Engineering team and as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be focusing on building out new features to improve systems in logistics, supply chain & inventory management operations.

What you’d expect to have done in your first year:

• Become a domain expert in inventory and order management engines
• Increase the quality and quantity of commits pushed to production
• Help your manager grow a mature team of engineers
• Define KPIs for performance
• Be the voice of Engineering in quarterly/annual planning

Key Skills and experience needed to be successful:

• Experience as a back end leaning full stack engineer, scaling applications within a fast paced environment
• Strong Node.js skills are essential, including frameworks such as Express.js or Koa.js
• Strong Typescript skills are essential
• Experience using GCP (ideally) or AWS
• Strong IaC experience (Terraform)
• Domain knowledge in Supply Chain/Warehouse management would be very useful
