Troi Search are delighted to be working with a B2C client in the Health & Wellness space as they look to hire a Hands-on but enterprise Lead Architect. This role reports directly to the CTO and you will be the most senior Architect in the business. You will be responsible for designing and executing the architecture that enables their overall technology vision covering everything from Digital (Cloud, web, mobile) to Networking & Security in their physical premises. The client has well over 1 million active subscribers in the UK, so your work will generally be felt by many!

What you will be getting up to:

  • Owning and improving the company's architectural blueprint
  • Acting as the lead technical decision maker across the company's cloud platform, including third party integrations
  • Outline architectural governance and principles, aligning infrastructure, business, data applications and security
  • Managing a team of 4-5 direct reports (System Analysts, Technical & Solutions Architects), and leading/coordinating team efforts
  • Assessing their current architecture modelling platform and identifying if they need to use a new platform (e.g. LeanIX or BizzDesign)
  • Being involved in supplier and vendor assessments, negotiating contracts and leading vendor engagement

What we are looking for:

  • Background in technical, hands-on positions (Network Engineer, Software Engineer etc), followed by progression into an Architecture role.
  • Must have End to End Architecture across an entire organisation, not just one domain within the organisation.
  • Experience of working for E-Commerce, Mobile & Web Apps or SaaS firms is a distinct advantage.
  • Must be familiar with Enterprise Architecture tools & practices, Solution & Technical Architecture.
  • Strong Cloud experience, ideally in Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, AAD etc). Also open to AWS or GCP experience but Azure experience will stand out.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and GDPR
  • Knowledge of architecture modelling platforms, such as BizzDesign, LeanIX and Sparx EAS

Salary around £115,000 - £130,000 + shares, 15% bonus & package that includes health cover & gym memberships. 3 days a week in Clapham Junction office. Reporting directly into CTO and also working closely with the Head of Engineering.
