Church Youth Officer (Part-time)

The Opportunity As part of our outreach programme in Ireland we work with parishes across the Island of Ireland to raise awareness about global justice issues. The Church Youth Officer will work to deliver outreach to young people in schools and parishes across Ireland on Catholic Social Teaching and global justice, specifically in relation to Laudato Si’ (the Church’s teaching on the environmental crises) and Climate Justice. The Officer will be part of the Trócaire Ireland Division Outreach Team, focusing on public engagement with young people across the Irish Church as it relates to our work. The role will involve close collaboration within Trócaire and externally with key stakeholders such as the Laudato Si’ Working Group of the Irish Bishops’ Conference. Please note that a substantial amount of outreach will ROI based. About Trócaire Trócaire is an International NGO.
