Senior Account Manager – MAT cover

A bit about the role:
You’ll lead the day-to day relationship with key automotive accounts identifying strategic opportunities to meet marketing objectives, whilst overseeing delivery of experiential campaigns – often with a multichannel approach!
The TRO Senior Account Manager role is multi-faceted encompassing:
Account Management: You’ll develop and nurture relationships with key clients working closely with them on a day-to-day basis. In collaboration with the Account Director your role is to inspire clients with new thinking that drives growth in existing accounts.
Strategic Planning : You’ll work with the clients to understand their marketing goals and in collaboration with the Account Director you’ll develop strategic plans and translate them into compelling experiential campaigns.
Project Management: This is a hands-on role that will see you responsible for owning the relationship with your clients whilst overseeing delivery of experiential programmes from brief to final reconciliation. You'll coordinate departments (creative, production, logistics & staffing) to ensure the creative vision is brought to life and operational excellence is delivered.
Finance Management: You'll be adept at tracking, reporting and confidently communicating with internal and external team, utilising finance management platforms.
Business Development: You’ll keep yourself at the forefront of industry news and trends, you'll be able to spot opportunities for growth, lead proposals and support pitch delivery and creative development. You’ll proactively promote TRO and turn client projects into compelling case studies.
People Management: You'll be responsible for guiding, motivating and developing junior account handlers and freelancers, providing mentorship and training on ways of working best practice. You’ll work collaboratively with others within the business to meet client needs and business goals – you'll provide constructive and timely feedback to support individuals grow.
You’ll bring:
Background: Proven account management experience in an experiential marketing agency with exposure to the wider marketing channel , supporting growth of existing accounts whilst being hands-on ensuring operational excellence in delivery of end-to-end projects .
Industry knowledge: Thorough understanding of the brand experience/experiential landscape – latest trends and technique and the relationship with wider media channels. You’ll ideally have a good understanding of the auto industry and intricacies of systems and processes surrounding experiential activity.
Strategic Thinker: Understanding of how experiential fits within an integrated marketing campaign and experience collaborating across inter agency programmes, to support with turning client goals into actionable strategies and creative marketing campaigns.
Commercial Awareness: Understanding of agency proposition and how a client’s business functions financially adhering to procurement processes and protection of margin. Experience managing high value, complex budgets and navigating legal and regulatory compliance.
Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills bringing the ability to quickly distil information to give relevant context and communicate concisely upwards and downwards. You’ll be a be a confident presenter!
Problem-Solver: You’ll have the ability to think on your feet and resolve challenges proactively.
People Management Skills: You’ll lead by example, supporting and motivating teams to deliver in a fast-paced environment! You’ll bring line management experience and be passionate about aiding personal development.
