TRO Client Services Director – Maternity Cover

We are looking for an experienced Client Services specialist to join us on a 12-month maternity cover starting in April.

It’s not the number of years’ experience that’s important; if you have a proven track record in agency side Client Services with a hunger to drive innovation, and lead the way fostering an environment of trust, openness and respect, then we’d love to hear from you!

A bit about the role:

Reporting into the Managing Director you’ll lead the Client Services Department as the driving force behind client satisfaction and account growth, ensuring account handlers thrive delivering first class experiential marketing campaigns and events – often with a multichannel approach!

The TRO Client Service Director role is multi-faceted encompassing:

  • Client Leadership: You’ll serve as primary point of contact for key accounts, nurturing relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Team Leadership: You\’ll be responsible for leading and guiding a team of account handlers and instilling best practice ways of working. You’ll both manage and mentor, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development.
  • Commercial Management: You’ll bring a commercial mindset monitoring and protecting commercials, ensuring profitability and supporting the team achieve targets, as well as overseeing efficient resource allocation.
  • Strategic Planning: You’ll collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals, develop strategic plans, and translate them into compelling experiential campaigns.
  • Project Oversight: You’ll oversee campaign execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Business Development: You’ll keep yourself at the forefront of industry news and be able to spot opportunities for growth taking the lead with pitch delivery, creative development and managing contractual negotiations when required.
  • Industry Trends: You’ll stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and best practices to enhance client offerings and company growth.
  • Performance Analytics: You’ll analyse campaign performance, presenting actionable insights and reports to clients.

You’ll bring:

  • Background: Proven experience leading a department within a marketing agency environment, driving growth whilst ensuring operational excellence in delivery of end-to-end projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, manage and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Thinker: Understanding of how experiential fits within an integrated marketing campaign and experience collaborating across inter agency programmes, translating client goals into actionable strategies and creative marketing campaigns.
  • Client-Centric: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to think on your feet and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding client satisfaction and business growth targets.
