A fast-growing digital asset investment and technology business is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Linux Engineer to join its expanding technology team. Operating at the forefront of cryptocurrency markets and institutional digital asset investing, the firm relies on secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure to support trading, research, and business operations across global markets. This is an opportunity to work within a technology-driven organisation where infrastructure is a strategic function. You'll help shape and support a modern hybrid environment spanning Azure, Microsoft technologies, Linux platforms, automation, and cybersecurity.

The Role: As a Senior Infrastructure & Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the firm's infrastructure, ensuring resilience, performance, and scalability across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and enhancing Microsoft, Azure, and Linux infrastructure
  • Supporting and optimising cloud-first platforms and services
  • Managing Linux servers and services across production environments

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in Infrastructure Engineering
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience supporting both Microsoft and Linux infrastructure
  • Strong Azure administration and cloud engineering expertise
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security principles
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, resilience, and disaster recovery
  • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for technology
  • Experience within financial services, hedge funds, fintech, trading, or digital assets
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience supporting high-availability and business-critical systems
  • Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or digital asset markets
