About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forensic Collision Investigator to join our team at TRL. This role involves in-depth investigations into road collisions, including those resulting in fatalities and serious injuries. The nature of this work requires resilience, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the UK legal system.

The successful candidate can be based UK wide with some travel expected. Flexible working options for full or part-time employment is available. Due to the long-term nature of Expert Witness responsibilities, applicants must have long-term residency in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate road collisions and vehicle-related incidents.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality forensic reports for public and private sector clients.
• Present evidence in Civil and Criminal Courts.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice.

EssentialSkills&Experience

• Extensiveexperienceinforensiccollisioninvestigationandinjurycausationanalysisincludingvideoanalysis.
• Strongknowledgeofvehicledynamics,biomechanics,andforensicvideoanalysis.
• Experienceinproducingandreviewingtechnicalreportswithexceptionalattention todetail.
• Strongcommunicationskills,withexperiencepresentingevidenceinCourt.
• FullUKdrivinglicence.

Desirable

• Relevantqualificationssuchasadegreeinphysics,engineeringorbiomechanics.
• Experienceretrievingandanalysingvehicleelectronicdata(EDRs,telematics).
• Knowledgeofinspectingelectricvehiclesandrelatedsafetyprotocols.
• Aninterestininjurycausation.
