Trizo Ltd, a successful Electronics Assembly company based in Bridgwater, Somerset, is looking to recruit another Data Controller. The role will entail a large amount of data entry and processing with a high level of accuracy. Data entry includes new data input, maintaining, updating, and retrieving existing data held on the Business System, to ensure all materials are created, planned, manufactured or purchased, stored, and costed as required.

  • Main Accountabilities:
  • To manage the process of collecting new and changed Operations data into our MRP system in a timely fashion (e.g. Bills of Materials, Routings, Timings, creation of Part Numbers, new products and semi-finished goods).
  • To validate, amend and quality check the data supplied into standard excel template formats and import into our Business System.
  • Communicating accurately in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining a high level of data integrity throughout the complete process, tracking changes required to the master data.
  • The role will involve working closely with different departments within the Business: Procurement, Planning, Production, Stores & Finance; therefore, good interpersonal and communication skills are vital to ensure the accurate management of complex information within our business system.

Professional Experience:

  • An understanding of and commitment to the need to ensure data accuracy in support of major manufacturing systems and MRP processes, and the importance of robust data to those processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, organised structured approach, and attention to detail are essential.
  • PC Literate – competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, quick to learn new systems, and knowledge of an MRP System would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work alone, and ability to report and escalate in a timely manner.
  • An understanding of an electronics manufacturing business would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work on their own to deadlines.

Our hours are Mon-Thurs 8-5 & Fri 8-2.30pm. Salary – £34k. Qualifications - GCSE English & Maths. Excellent written and spoken English. PC experience in Excel, Word. Holidays – 20 + BH + 3/5 Days closed at Christmas. Free onsite parking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year. Benefits: Company pension, On-site parking. Work Location: In person.
