Trizo Ltd is a successful Electronics Manufacturing company based in Bridgwater, Somerset and we are looking to appoint a PCB Inspector. The PCB Inspector will be required to visually inspect assembled PCBs and Electronic Assemblies to ensure that they meet quality standards and our customers' requirements.
Duties/tasks will include:
- Inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610, class 3 to ensure quality of product using the latest magnification equipment, AOI & Xray
- Liaise with Production
- Assist and support Production Technicians by discussing faults and findings to include Internal Training of the Team
- Manage and resolve inspection queries and raising NCR’s as applicable
- Monitor build, quality and report quality issues as necessary
- Action rework as necessary
Other skills/knowledge required:
- Understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)
- Previous inspection and assembly experience to IPC-A-610 class 2 minimum desirable
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
- Able to work effectively to deadlines
- Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination
