This opportunity is with theparent holding company of Trivera, an established insurance brokerage, which also owns an affiliated Managing General Underwriter (MGU).

As the organization grows, we're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function across both businesses, including consolidated financial reporting and the development of scalable financial processes.

This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity starting at

20–25 hours per week , with the expectation of transitioning to full-time within approximately six months . Candidates must be available for regular communication during

London business hours .

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting across multiple legal entities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform month-end and year-end close
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and financial roll-ups
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Oversee AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
  • Support external auditors and tax advisors
  • Improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Lead the accounting function for our affiliated MGU

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience as a Senior Accountant or Controller
  • Experience consolidating multiple legal entities
  • Advanced Quick Books Online and Excel skills
  • Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Preferred
  • Insurance/Reinsurance brokerage, MGA, or MGU experience
  • Multi-jurisdiction accounting experience
  • Experience with holding company structures
