About Your Role

You will accelerate the commercial growth of our business. We are looking for a commercially aware and highly organised Senior Sales Support professional to support the growth of our broker channel and wider sales function. This role plays a critical part in helping deals progress efficiently from enquiry through to funding, while enabling BDMs to focus on broker relationships, strategic growth, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have experience within fintech lending or financial services, strong operational coordination skills, and confidence working directly with brokers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support BDMs with broker relationships and deal progression
  • Respond to broker queries and provide application updates via email, phone, and Slack
  • Assist with pre-selection reporting
  • Communicate decline and referral outcomes professionally and clearly
  • Manage applications from enquiry to funding
  • Chase outstanding information from brokers and customers when required
  • Coordinate with Operations, Inbound Team, Underwriting, and Credit teams
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and monitor pipeline progress
  • Help improve operational efficiency and broker experience
  • Onboard new brokers to the platform (documentation, system access, initial training)
  • Track and report on broker performance metrics (conversion rates, pipeline velocity)
  • Support broker marketing activity such as campaigns, newsletters, or event coordination

Requirements

  • 3+ years proven experience within fintech lending, financial services, or commercial lending
  • Previous experience in Sales Support, Broker Support, Lending Operations, or similar
  • Target driven, self-motivated, initiative taker
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Experience working with CRMs and pipeline management tools (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Nice to have

  • Existing broker network and understanding of the UK intermediary landscape
  • Experience working in a scaling fintech environment
  • Familiarity with small business working capital needs and lending products (e.g., invoice finance, working capital, embedded credit) is a strong plus
