Key Responsibilities
We are seeking someone who is capable of advising on legal affairs across our global operations. You will play a pivotal role in protecting the business while enabling growth, ensuring compliance, commercial contracting, and working with external counsel for more strategic legal matters across multiple jurisdictions: UK, UAE, KSA, USA, and Australia. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Corporate & Commercial Legal Support
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial documents, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and partnership documents across all our operating territories.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage external counsel relationships for transactions and regulatory filings as needed.
- Commercial risk management oversight.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal policies (including but not limited to Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity, Procurement, Data Protection, Health & Safety) to ensure legal compliance, and good governance across all operating markets.
- Support leadership on legal aspects of compliance, ESG, insurance, privacy, and anti-bribery frameworks.
- Lead on corporate registrations, board resolutions, and company secretarial work in coordination with local advisors.
- Consult with Trivandi’s external Data Protection Officer, providing legal advice to the business on compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and relevant ICO guidance.
- Support with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights requests, ensuring responses are lawful, timely, and defensible.
- Support the People Team on global employment law matters, including M&A, terminations, restructures, grievances, and risk mitigation.
- Support the development of People-related policies and company ethics frameworks.
- Collaborate with external counsel across jurisdictions to ensure efficient, value-added service delivery.
Personal Skills and Experience
- Qualified UK solicitor with 2-4 years PQE, with the ambition and curiosity to develop their skills across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines.
- Strong grounding in commercial contracting and corporate governance is essential.
- Potential and capability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience supporting senior leadership teams in fast-moving, commercially oriented environments.
- Commercially pragmatic and able to balance legal risk with business goals.
