We are looking for a highly capable and detail-focused Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role will take ownership of balance sheet integrity, month-end reporting, and audit readiness across the business, within a growing multi-entity and multi-currency environment. To come on this journey with us, you will have a strong sense of ownership, be commercially minded, and take pride in producing accurate, well-controlled financial information. You will enjoy improving processes, bringing structure, and ensuring the business is always audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.
  • Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully supported, reviewed, and cleared in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unusual balances, and reconciling items.
  • Ensure the business is audit-ready at all times, with clear documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Act as a key point of contact for auditors, responding to queries and providing evidence as required.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Work closely with AP, AR, payroll, and finance systems to ensure strong data integrity across all ledgers.
  • Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and business decision support as required.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, controls, and reporting.

Personal Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, controls, and month-end close.
  • Experience preparing for and supporting external audits.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong control mindset.
  • Confidence working in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
