Reporting to the Project Lead – Strategy and Service Integration, the Accreditation Integration Manager will play a key role in supporting the planning, integration, and delivery of accreditation operations for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games at Competition Venues. Working closely with multiple functional areas, venue teams, and external stakeholders and suppliers, the role ensures that accreditation requirements are fully integrated into operational plans and delivered during Games Time. This position is ideal for a proactive professional experienced in event operations, accreditation systems, and stakeholder management within complex multi-agency environments.
Working arrangements: The role will commence in the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits required to competition venues to fully deliver the responsibilities of the role. The location for the role will transition to be based at a competition venue as we approach the Games. The role will be contracted for 40 hours per week, with requirements to be in the office aligned to the Organising Company's planned working pattern. All travel to your place of work will be at your own cost. During the Games operational period, shift patterns are likely to be required which could include weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the last stages of planning for Venue Accreditation and act as the integration lead for the EDP accreditation functional area, liaising with key functional areas (e.g. OC Accreditation Team, Security, Transport, Workforce, Technology, Venue Management).
- Finalise all accreditation venue planning requirements including accreditation zoning and access control plans.
- Coordinate accreditation data for EDP contractors and suppliers including collection and submission processes and timelines and management of the accreditation system.
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accreditation dependencies and milestones are met.
- Support reporting, risk tracking, and issue resolution related to accreditation integration.
- Become proficient in the Games Time accreditation system and assist with any pre-event accreditation system requirements.
- Assist in the development of training and operational documentation for EDP contractors and staff.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of Venue Accreditation Managers and accreditation volunteers who will fill Games Time roles.
- Fulfil a games time role as the Venue Accreditation Manager at one of the Glasgow 2026 Competition Venues.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Proven experience in accreditation, workforce operations, or systems integration for large-scale sporting or major events.
- Strong understanding of event accreditation processes, technology platforms, and inter-functional dependencies.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams and client groups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative event or project environments.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools; experience with AMS platforms is highly desirable.
