The Role

As a Money Advice Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our tenants through challenging financial circumstances. You will provide high-quality information, advice, guidance and practical support across welfare benefits, energy and utilities, and wider welfare reform, helping to mitigate the impacts of the cost‑of‑living crisis. You will bring a strong understanding of the welfare benefits system, with the ability to provide holistic, customer‑focused advice. You will communicate confidently and compassionately, particularly with customers experiencing financial difficulty. You will be motivated, flexible and committed, thriving both as part of a team and when working independently in managing your own caseload to meet tight deadlines. You should be comfortable handling a variety of operational enquiries efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A flexible and proactive approach to work is key, along with a professional, polite, and friendly telephone manner. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and can balance competing priorities with ease, we’d love to hear from you.
