The Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression of the organisation by providing a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house service.
Acting as one of the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees, the Receptionist ensures all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
In addition to managing day-to-day reception activities, the role provides administrative support across a range of business functions, helping to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the workplace while delivering an excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries efficiently through the switchboard system.
- Coordinate internal communications via the factory PA system.
- Receive, sort, and distribute internal and external mail.
- Arrange travel and transport bookings, including flights, taxis, and courier services.
- Schedule meetings and manage meeting room bookings.
- Order and maintain office stationery supplies.
- Administer vehicle taxation and insurance records.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounts Payable team, including statement reconciliations.
- Assist the Customs and Duty team with returns administration and related tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Maths & English GCSE grade C/4 or above
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Experience working within a similar receptionist environment would be an advantage
- Flexible, adaptable, self-motivated and resilient.
- Able to work under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills and concise written and verbal skills.
- Friendly with positive and professional manor attitude.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 39hrs per week.
