Integration & Validation Engineer (DE363)

We are seeking a skilled Integration & Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hinckley. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge motorcycle electrical components and systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Reviewing Systems Requirements for testability.
• Creating test specifications and test cases for various motorcycle electrical components and systems, including Suspension control, Chassis control, Lighting, Instruments, Connectivity, Keyless systems, and ARAS systems.
• Mapping systems requirements to test artefacts within the PREEVision toolchain.
• Creating test plans for control systems.
• Creating and modifying CANoe environments, as well as developing automated test scripts in VTestStudio.
• Executing automated black box tests and collating & analysing results.
• Conducting manual system level tests, such as Bluetooth connectivity systems testing.

Qualifications

• A BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent relevant subject.
• Proficiency in EES test and validation.
• Experience in manual and automated test case generation.
• Detailed knowledge of CAN communication.
• Proficiency with CANoe/vTESTStudio (or similar).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in script development (e.g., CAPL, Python, Perl or similar).
• Experience with defect resolution tools (e.g., JIRA).
