We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our workforce and enhancing our employee experience during a pivotal time for our organisation.

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the business. You will lead on a range of HR initiatives, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising line managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training and development programmes.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to implement engagement initiatives that enhance employee morale and retention.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to improve HR metrics and overall employee satisfaction.

Skills / Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR, with a thorough understanding of employment law and best practices. You should be a confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. Experience within the private sector is essential and experience within manufacturing is desirable. Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week. Proven experience in a HR Advisory or Senior HR Advisory role is essential.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 39 hours per week. Flexible start and finish time with early finish on a Friday.
