About the role
At TRI, our mission is to make Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) simple; making it accessible, understandable, and actionable for clinical trials of any scale and complexity. We develop innovative technologies and simplified solutions to empower research organisations and sponsors, ensuring the highest standards of trial integrity and participant safety.
We are looking for potential Business Development and Account Execs who will be responsible for the identification, qualification, and development of new sales opportunities and new customer accounts. As part of the Sales Team at TRI you will be involved working closely with the Marketing, Contracts, Finance, and Operations teams in order to strengthen and accelerate the pipeline of new business.

- Salary – up to £50,000 Depending on Experience + OTE

Your skills & qualifications
- Prospect potential new clients, by telephone, email, LinkedIn InMail, etc, to generate leads and set appointments for the TRI Sales Team.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Team and actively prospect target customers provided by Marketing.
- Research Sponsors and CROs to determine potential new accounts, identify appropriate individuals, and develop appropriate messaging for telephone or written outreach.
- Collaboratively work with the Sales and Marketing Teams to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers.
- Support Sales Team by maintaining a consistent level of content‑based outreach to target and pipeline customers.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of TRI’s solutions, key competitors, and relevant industry developments.
- Effectively communicate TRI’s solutions and value proposition to prospective customers.
- Use TRI’s CRM (Salesforce) to manage and record all customer interactions, providing consistent, concise and accurate reporting; create and manage leads/opportunities.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Achieve or exceed sales lead generation and appointment quotas.
- What you bring to the team:
- Experience of selling into pharma, biotech, and CRO sectors is preferred.
- Track record of lead generation (cold and warm calling) and account development.
- Experience of Salesforce CRM (or similar).
- Able to travel within the UK and globally.
- Knowledge of drug development and approval process is advantageous.
