Temporary Industrial Placement – Procurement & Supply Chain
Join Triumph as an Industrial Placement in Procurement & Supply Chain! This role is open to current degree students who are looking for a placement year in 2026/27 only.

From the design department in Hinckley to the workshops of our dealers, everyone at Triumph works with passion and pride on the award-winning motorcycles that excite and engage our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to embark on an exciting industrial placement within our Procurement & Supply Chain team.

This role is perfect for someone keen to build a career in procurement and supply chain management. You will be directly involved in various critical functions, including:
- Supplier Relationship Management & Negotiation: You will be responsible for onboarding and developing suppliers, helping to define commodity strategies and negotiating contracts in line with new model requirements.
- Contract Review: Support the tender and nomination processes while aligning supplier proposals with our strategic and operational aims.
- Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our supply chain remains competitive and effective.
- Component Development: Participate in new model development discussions with suppliers and collaborate with project stakeholders.
- Stock Analysis: Optimise inventory and cash flow management to support business needs.
- Business Data & Budget Analysis: Track business cases against targets, addressing negative variances and identifying savings opportunities.
- Management Reports: Assist with board-level reporting and manage internal expectations across project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across functions.
- You should be dynamic, adaptable, and thrive under pressure in an agile business setting.
- A self-motivated individual, you will display methodical time management and organisational skills.
- An active interest in procurement and supply chain management is a must.
- Applicants should be on track to achieve a 2:2 or First Class Honours Degree in a relevant business, science, or engineering degree.
