An Electrician is required to join our team here at Triumph, working as part of a team of engineers responsible for the maintenance and installation of site machinery assets. As an Electrician, you will predominantly be involved in installing new electrical, compressed air and water infrastructure for upcoming production projects. This will include installation of mechanical infrastructure and containment as well as pipework and electrical cabling. Once the machinery is in place you will complete final connections and carry out initial inspection and certification.
In addition, there is a steady flow of installation jobs and maintenance tasks to keep facilities in good condition and appropriate for business needs. Compliance auditing such as emergency light checks, portable appliance testing and EICR are another aspect to the role.
You will need to have pride in your work, being focused on aesthetics and the technical detail as we are a customer facing factory.
The following skills and experience are required;
- UK electrical qualifications eg. C&G or NVQ or BTEC
- Experience working in and industrial environment with 3-phase power
- Self-motivated and resilient
- Flexible and adaptable
- Able to take instruction and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, clear and concise written and verbal skills
- Able to make systematic and logical judgements
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Hands on approach to problem resolution
- IOSH H&S training
- City & Guilds 2391
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Pneumatic pipe fitting experience
