Triumph Motorcycles is the Original British Motorcycling Company, designing, engineering and manufacturing iconic motorcycles that celebrate our heritage while embracing the future. Their Electrical / Electronic Department is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Electronics Components Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves introducing new and exciting automotive technology across the range of motorcycles and supporting future model development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic components across chassis, powertrain, electric driveline, RESS and HMI systems.
  • Define, specify and validate components to meet system requirements, safety standards (FuSa), environmental conditions and EMC regulations.
  • Identify, analyse and resolve technical issues and risks at both component and full motorcycle level.
  • Manage component delivery against quality, cost and timing targets, working closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
  • Develop and manage hardware requirements and system architectures, supporting integration with systems, software and modelling teams.

Experience & Skills required:

  • BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or HND in a relevant subject, with relevant hardware experience.
  • Proficiency in hardware specification, requirements capture/management and supplier management.
  • Experience managing suppliers to deliver ECUs/components against project deliverables.
  • Knowledge of CAN communication and familiarity with tools such as CANalyser/CANoe (or similar).
  • Specific areas of interest such as EMC, hardware functional safety, connectivity or user interface design.

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week.
