We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves providing expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the business, and leading HR initiatives in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development to foster a positive workplace culture aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Advising line managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training and development programmes.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to implement engagement initiatives that enhance employee morale and retention.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to improve HR metrics and overall employee satisfaction.

Skills / Experience

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR, with a thorough understanding of employment law and best practices.
  • You should be a confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience within the private sector is essential and experience within manufacturing is desirable.
  • Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week.
  • Proven experience in a HR Advisory or Senior HR Advisory role is essential.

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday 39 hours per week. Flexible start and finish time with early finish on a Friday.
