This opening assignment is for 6 months, predominantly remote but there may be occasions in-person office sessions are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of up to 10 Application Support Officers.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of application support services.
- Oversee incidents, service requests and problem resolution.
- Configure and support NEC Housing applications.
- Drive service improvements and implement best practice.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, security and GDPR compliance.
- Produce and analyse management information to support decision making.
- Support out-of-hours upgrades and technical activities when required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of NEC Housing modules and configuration.
- Experience using Task Manager and CRM functions.
- Experience supporting system changes, upgrades and service improvements.
- SQL knowledge, ideally with experience writing or amending queries.
- Extensive experience supporting NEC Housing applications.
- Experience delivering application support within a large organisation.
- Ability to create and amend communications, alerts, Task Manager workflows and CRM functions.
- Experience leading or supervising technical support teams.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience working within local government.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and service management.
- Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications.
