Role Summary
Working within the organisation’s Commercial Function, you will provide sourcing, sales, and contract management support across a portfolio of projects. You will work closely with Commercial Managers and project teams to develop procurement strategies, lead competitive or single-source procurements, manage complex contracts, and ensure value for money and effective supplier performance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising project staff on acquisition and procurement strategies
- Leading sourcing activities, tenders, and negotiations (including complex contracts)
- Managing higher value or complex contracts and supplier performance
- Supporting commercial sales activity
- Acting as a local commercial expert
Key criteria
- Independent experience in sourcing, procurement, and contract management
- Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment skills
- Ownership of tender evaluation decisions
- Supplier performance monitoring and cost analysis experience
