Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Senior Building Control Surveyorfor their client. You will oversee building control work, support junior staff and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Contract is for 6-7 months in Redcar, North Yorkshire TS10 1RT.
Pay Rate: £50.00 per hour PAYE
Key Requirements
Substantial Building Control experience in a senior or supervisory role.
RICS or CABE qualification, or working towards this with relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
LABC standards and competency completed or willingness to undertake them.
Full driving licence or ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Building Control staff and support their development and training.
Assess and determine plans and applications in line with Building Regulations.
Inspect building work to ensure compliance with regulations.
Investigate unauthorised and non-compliant work and take appropriate action.
Provide advice and liaise with stakeholders including the Council, fire service and other external bodies.
