Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Officer
Triumph Consultants are looking for a Data Analytics Officer to play a crucial role in optimising the efficiency, effectiveness, and financial management of a local council parking management and decriminalised enforcement services. Contract is for 6 months in Woolwich, SE18 6HQ.
Data Analytics Officer
Pay Rate: £25.07 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours
Assume Office-based, as no hybrid working provided
Key requirements
- Previous experience in designing, building, and maintaining operational dashboards e.g., Power BI
- Experience writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data
- Previous experience producing analytical reports, trend analysis, and performance dashboards for service improvement. Include examples of interpreting complex datasets with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to ensure data accuracy, performs validation checks, and maintains data quality when working across multiple systems
- Previous experience creating and managing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and structured content for operational team
- Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency, with experience of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint). Provide examples of how these tools were used to streamline processes or improve reporting
- Some knowledge of parking systems, PCN lifecycle, back-office workflows, data flows, and operational reporting requirements
- Experience of supporting system upgrades, migrations, or new system implementations, including data extraction, testing, configuration support, or user acceptance testing
- Systems integration awareness, with experience of working with multiple systems, APIs, data sources, or integrations. Include examples of ensuring data consistency and alignment across platforms
- Ability to identify issues, investigates data discrepancies, and resolves technical or reporting problems.
Key responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in optimising the efficiency, effectiveness, and financial management of our parking management and decriminalised enforcement services.
- Support the Parking Service with data led intelligence to improve the quality of life for local residents
- Lead on contract management and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with contractual obligations and supplier performance
- Support the daily operation, routines management and system interrogation of systems associated with all our IT systems

Anticipated Length of Assignment:Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
