Triumph Consultants are looking for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader
to support the day-to-day operation of the Temporary Accommodation service, leading a team of officers and overseeing placements, casework and accommodation suitability. Contract is for 5 months in Croydon CR0 1EA.
Temporary Accommodation Team Leader
Location: Croydon CR0 1EA
Hybrid – up to 3 days per week on site
Basic DBS required following successful interview
Immediate requirement for an experienced housing professional
Key requirements
- Strong experience within local government temporary accommodation services
- Good knowledge of homelessness legislation and statutory housing duties
- Experience managing or supervising housing officers
- Ability to manage complex cases and provide sound casework guidance
- Strong understanding of accommodation suitability and housing standards
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Temporary Accommodation team
- Oversee placements, transfers, move-ons and voids
- Manage complex homelessness and temporary accommodation cases
- Monitor performance, KPIs, compliance and statutory deadlines
- Support, develop and provide guidance to team members

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
