We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in commercial strategy and end-to-end procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing effective routes to market, leading tender processes, and managing contract negotiations. They must be confident in preparing tender documentation, cost models, and evaluation reports, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to improving procurement practices and delivering commercial success.
Key requirements:
- Provide expert support on commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
- Develop and implement effective routes to market, considering regulatory compliance and procurement best practices.
- Lead on the preparation of tender documentation and cost models, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and competitiveness.
- Manage the entire tender publication process, including advertising, supplier engagement, and compliance checks.
- Oversee the tender evaluation process, coordinating assessment teams and producing detailed recommendation reports. Lead contract award activities, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare and issue contract notices in accordance with procurement regulations and organisational policies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Contract Management Plans to support effective supplier performance and risk mitigation.
- Ensure procurement systems (e.g., Jaggaer) are consistently updated with accurate and relevant data for audit and reporting purposes.
