Parks And Harbour Technical Project Officer
Triumph Consultants are looking for a Parks And Harbour Technical Project Officer to coordinate delivery of the Parks and Harbour workstream, ensuring priority sites are assessed, planned, progressed through compliant works, and handed over with clear records, controls and responsibilities. Contract is for 10 months in Bristol.
Parks And Harbour Technical Project Officer
Pay Rate: £18.96 per hour PAYE
Location: Bower Ashton, Bristol, BS3 2JT
Hybrid Working with regular travel to operational sites across Bristol – must work from Bristol at least 1 day per week
Key requirements:
Must have water safety experience.
Experience delivering technically complex infrastructure, utilities, estates or compliance work in operational environments.
Working knowledge of drinking-water regulation and water-supply infrastructure, sufficient to understand risks and technical advice.
Experience managing contractors or consultants, including requirements, evidence, performance and issue resolution.
Strong project controls across planning, risks, issues, actions, decisions, costs, governance and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
Confirm sites in scope, priorities, contacts, reporting routes and target dates.
Coordinate surveys, inspections, flushing requirements, technical checks and remedial works.
Submit and track work requests through Building Practice and support Bristol Water review where required.
Coordinate procurement, contractor access, progress, evidence, defects and site issues.
Liaise with Bristol Water, Public Health, Corporate Landlord, Parks, Harbour, Events, procurement, finance and health and safety colleagues.

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
